Pre-Release Guide
Alliance Faceoff is a new event that hasn't been released yet. This guide is built from game code analysis ahead of live release. Most mechanics (timing, reward tables, refresh costs, caps) are locked in via configuration files and unlikely to change, but a few details — especially server-side enforcement specifics, exact reward arithmetic, weekly cadence, and advanced strategies — can only be confirmed once the event runs live.
We'll update this guide with field-tested observations after the first event run.
01. What It Is
Alliance Faceoff is a point war, not a war. Two alliances are paired 1-v-1 and, for 6.5 days, both sides grind daily objectives to pile up points. There is no marching, no rally, no combat resolution — the side that accumulates more member points each day wins that day. Treat it like a raid on a spreadsheet, not on a base.

💡 One Number, Three Jobs
Every point you earn does three things at once: unlocks your personal Point Chests, feeds your alliance's daily win/loss score, and ranks you on the personal leaderboard. You never split effort between goals — one grind serves all three.
🗓️ The Shape
Six daily themes. Days 1–5 are one theme each; the sixth theme, All-Out Showdown, runs 1.5 days. That's 6.5 days total. The event window opens for 8 days and recurs roughly every 28 days.
The six themes
| Day | Theme | What the day rewards |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Powerful PD | Trucks, Electro Core upgrades, confiscation, speedups |
| 2 | Hero Development | Trucks, hero fragments, Electro Core, speedups |
| 3 | K9 Training | Trucks, Whistles, badge & K9 rating, confiscation |
| 4 | Enhance Equipment | Trucks, equipment materials, officer training |
| 5 | Escort & Raid | Trucks, Electro Core, Chief equipment rating, speedups |
| 6 | All-Out Showdown (1.5 days) | Everything — the widest mission set, worth the most Victory Points |
02. Eligibility & Matchmaking
The one thing that will silently disqualify you: where you sit the moment matchmaking begins. Matchmaking starts in the final hour before the event, and your eligibility freezes at that instant. Only the top 20 alliances by Power in your State qualify, and you must be a member of a qualifying alliance when that clock hits zero.
⭐ Be In Your Seat Before The Freeze
If you want to earn points for your alliance and be eligible for ranking rewards, you must be in that alliance when matchmaking begins — the last hour before start. Jump ship after that and you're locked out of the alliance-side rewards for the whole event.
The switching rules that trip people up
- ▸Join late = no alliance credit. Join a competing alliance after matchmaking and you cannot earn points for it that event — but you can still claim Point Chests (those follow you personally).
- ▸Leaving and returning is safe. Points are tied to the alliance you were in at matchmaking. Leave, then come back to that same alliance, and you resume earning for it.
- ▸Points scored elsewhere never transfer. Anything you earn in a different alliance mid-event will not count toward your original alliance's ranking.
- ▸Your chest progress is yours forever. Personal Points for chests are never wiped when you leave an alliance.
No alliance, or a rank-21+ alliance? You can't participate. The event surfaces a "recommend alliances" helper suggesting which Top-20 alliance to join — but that is a join helper, not your opponent pairing. The server picks your opponent; you never see it until it's locked.
03. Personal Points — The Engine
💡 Trucks Are The Whole Event
Escorting a truck is worth 10,000 points. Raiding one is another 10,000. Both are available every single day. The entire five-chest daily ladder tops out at 125,000 points — that's about 13 truck runs. Everything else on the board is a rounding error. A player who maxes their truck escorts and raids each day single-handedly carries their alliance.
There are dozens of daily objectives, but they fall into three tiers by how many points they actually move. Know the tiers and you know exactly where to spend your day.
Point sources, ranked by what they're worth
| Objective | Which days | Points each |
|---|---|---|
| Escort any truck | All 6 days | 10,000 |
| Raid any truck | All 6 days | 10,000 |
| Consume a Premium Whistle | Days 3, 6 | 9,370 |
| Use a Hero's Exclusive Equipment material | Days 4, 6 | 3,750 |
| Use a Legendary Hero Fragment | Days 2, 6 | 1,875 |
| Use 1 Hardened Steel | Days 4, 6 | 1,875 |
| Consume Electro Core to upgrade a building | Days 1, 2, 5, 6 | 1,250 |
| Use an Epic Hero Fragment | Days 2, 6 | 750 |
| Consume a Normal Whistle | Days 3, 6 | 680 |
| Use a Rare Hero Fragment | Days 2, 6 | 210 |
| Confiscate / speedups / 1 Diamond | Varies | 1–45 |
Read that top row again: two truck objectives at 10,000 each, every day, dwarf the entire rest of the list. The Premium Whistle is the one whale one-shot that comes close — but it's consumable-limited and only appears on days 3 and 6. The confiscation and 1-minute speedup objectives exist so that even a free-to-play chief can chip toward the very first chest (100 points).
⭐ The Daily Play
Max your truck escorts and raids every day (4 raids, 4 escorts), then top up with the day's high-value consumables (Whistles on days 3/6, equipment materials and Hardened Steel on days 4/6, Electro Core upgrades on days 1/2/5/6). Members Only
04. Point Chests — And Why They Reset Daily
🔁 The Ladder Resets Every Single Day
Your point total toward chests wipes to zero at every theme rollover. There is no banking. The 100 → 125,000 ladder must be re-earned from scratch on each of the six days. Miss a day and that day's chests are gone — you can't "catch up" tomorrow. Consistency beats a single heroic push.
Each day has a five-chest ladder unlocked at cumulative personal points. Chests 1–4 are identical every day; only the top chest is themed to that day. The two worth building your day around are the 87,500 chest (3,500 Diamonds) and the 125,000 top chest.
The daily chest ladder
| Chest | Points | Reward (same every day) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 100 | 2 Advanced Bulletproof Fibers, 4 Ammo, 4 Cash |
| 2 | 25,000 | 1 Hero Eqpt. Chest, Electricity, Gas |
| 3 | 50,000 | 1 Escort Permit, 25× each 5-Min Speedup (build/research/train) |
| 4 | 87,500 | 3,500 Diamonds, 1 Escort Permit, Ammo, Cash |
| 5 | 125,000 | Themed top chest — see below |
The themed 125,000 top chest, by day
| Day / Theme | Headline reward (plus 1 Escort Permit + resources) |
|---|---|
| 1 · Powerful PD | 15 Electro Core |
| 2 · Hero Development | 5 Legendary Universal Hero Fragment |
| 3 · K9 Training | 15 Badge Warrant |
| 4 · Enhance Equipment | 15 Badge Blank |
| 5 · Escort & Raid | 15 Classified Schematic |
| 6 · All-Out Showdown | 8 Hardened Steel |
Chests aren't gated by alliance eligibility. Even a chief who joined after matchmaking — or has no eligible alliance at all — can still grind points and claim every chest. If you can't help an alliance this event, the chest ladder alone is still worth showing up for: six days of 3,500-Diamond chests is 21,000 Diamonds if you clear chest 4 every day.
05. Daily Wins & Victory Points

Each day, whichever alliance's members scored more total points wins that day and banks its Victory Points. Ties are draws (no Victory Points to either side). The overall winner is simply whoever holds the most Victory Points after the finale.

The odd-alliance bye: if there's an odd number of eligible alliances, one gets a "bye" round with no opponent. The client shows it as a non-win (opponent scored 0, no Victory Points displayed). Whether a bye quietly grants a free win is not something the game confirms — plan as if a bye earns you nothing and keep grinding your chests regardless.

07. Star Level & Rewards

Winning One Event Barely Matters — The Star Streak Does
A win versus a loss at the same Star tier is only a modest reward bump. The real multiplier is your alliance's Star Level: win an event, gain a Star; lose, drop one. Higher Star tiers pay dramatically better across both the flat Star reward and the leaderboard payout, so a winning streak compounds. Chase the streak, not the single trophy.
At event end, every current alliance member is mailed a Star-Level reward based on the alliance's Star tier and whether it won or lost/drew. Stars persist between events and bucket into four tiers: 1–2★, 3–5★, 6–9★, and 10★+.
Star-Level reward by tier
| Star tier | Win reward | Loss / Draw reward |
|---|---|---|
| 1–2★ | 1,000 Dia · 10 Electro Core · 30K Alliance Coins · 5 1-Hr Spd · 50 Supply · 1 Escort Truck Camp | 500 Dia · 5 EC · 2 Spd · 25 Supply |
| 3–5★ | 1,500 Dia · 15 EC · 30K AC · 6 Spd · 75 Supply · 1 Truck Camp | 750 Dia · 10 EC · 3 Spd · 50 Supply |
| 6–9★ | 2,000 Dia · 20 EC · 60K AC · 8 Spd · 100 Supply · 2 Truck Camp | 1,000 Dia · 15 EC · 30K AC · 4 Spd · 75 Supply · 1 Truck Camp |
| 10★+ | 2,500 Dia · 25 EC · 80K AC · 10 Spd · 125 Supply · 3 Truck Camp | 1,250 Dia · 20 EC · 40K AC · 5 Spd · 100 Supply · 1 Truck Camp |
Dia = Diamonds · EC = Electro Core · AC = Alliance Coins · Spd = 1-Hr Universal Speedup · Supply = 100K Resources Supply Chest. Note the jump from 1–2★ to 10★+ is 2.5× the Diamonds and Electro Core — and that's before the far bigger leaderboard gap in Section 08. Every Star you hold makes the next event pay more.
08. Ranking Rewards & The Gate
🚪 Miss The Gate, Get Nothing From The Leaderboard
The richest rewards in the event sit behind a hard qualify gate. To collect any ranking reward you need all three: your alliance totals 20,000,000 points, you personally hit 300,000 points, and you were in the alliance when matchmaking began. Fall short on your personal 300,000 and the entire leaderboard payout skips you — no partial credit.
300,000 personal points across the event is roughly 30 truck runs total — about 5 a day. That's very achievable if you commit, and it's the single most important personal target in the event because the leaderboard rewards dwarf everything else. Alliances are then ranked by their members' combined points, and each member is paid by the alliance's finishing bracket: 1st, 2nd, 3–5, 6–10, 11–20, 21–50.
Top-bracket payout — how much Star tier matters
| Star tier (winning, rank 1) | Duel of Honor | Diamonds | Electro Core | Legendary Frags |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1–2★ | 5 | 30,000 | 40 | 10 |
| 3–5★ | 5 | 30,000 | 50 | 20 |
| 6–9★ | 5 | 30,000 | 60 | 30 |
| 10★+ | 5 | 30,000 | 70 | 40 |
Same rank #1, but a 10★+ alliance member walks away with 70 Electro Core and 40 Legendary Hero Fragments versus a 1–2★ member's 40 and 10 — before you even count the deeper brackets. The Duel of Honor island decoration is the event's only prestige token and is reserved for the top leaderboard brackets (and the top three losing-side ranks) — the single flex you can't buy any other way.
Winning vs losing is the small lever; Star tier is the big one. A losing top-tier alliance can still out-earn a winning bottom-tier one on the leaderboard. Keep your alliance's Star streak alive and your leaderboard rewards climb every event.
09. Common Mistakes
- ▸ Switching alliances after matchmaking. You keep your chests but lose all alliance points and ranking eligibility for the event. Be in your seat before the final-hour freeze.
- ▸ Treating chests like they bank. The whole ladder resets at every daily rollover. Skipping a day permanently forfeits that day's chests — you cannot make it up later.
- ▸ Grinding small objectives. Confiscation, 1-min speedups and single-Diamond tasks are worth 1–45 points. Trucks are 10,000. Don't burn your day on rounding errors.
- ▸ Members Only
- ▸ Falling short of 300,000 personal points. Miss it and you're locked out of every leaderboard reward, no matter how well your alliance places. That's ~5 truck runs a day.
- ▸ Chasing a single event win over the Star streak. One win is a modest bump; a rising Star tier compounds every reward channel. Protect the streak.
- ▸ Assuming a bye is a free win. The game never confirms a bye pays out. Keep grinding chests and don't count on Victory Points you can't see.
TL;DR — The Quick Hits
- 1. Alliance Faceoff is a 6.5-day, 1-v-1 point race between two Top-20 alliances. No combat — just objectives.
- 2. Every point does three jobs at once: unlocks your chests, wins your alliance the day, and ranks you on the leaderboard.
- 3. Trucks are the entire event. Escort = 10,000 pts, Raid = 10,000 pts, both available all six days. Everything else is a rounding error.
- 4. The daily 100 → 125,000 chest ladder resets every day. No banking. Miss a day, lose that day's chests forever.
- 5. The two chests worth chasing daily: 87,500 (3,500 Diamonds) and the 125,000 themed top chest.
- 6. Chests aren't gated by eligibility — even non-eligible chiefs can grind them. Six days of chest 4 = 21,000 Diamonds.
- 7. Members Only
- 8. Members Only
- 9. Be in your alliance before matchmaking (final hour before start) or you can't earn alliance points or ranking rewards.
- 10. Leaving and returning to your matchmaking alliance is safe; points scored in a different alliance never transfer back.
- 11. Ranking-reward gate is hard: alliance 20,000,000 pts, you personally 300,000 pts (~5 trucks/day), member at matchmaking.
- 12. Star tier > win/loss. A win is a small bump; a rising Star streak compounds both Star and leaderboard rewards every event.
- 13. Top brackets pay Duel of Honor — the event's only prestige island decoration, unbuyable anywhere else.
- 14. A 10★+ rank-1 finisher earns 70 Electro Core / 40 Legendary Frags vs a 1–2★ finisher's 40 / 10. Stars are the multiplier.
- 15. Don't count on the bye — the game never confirms it grants a win. Grind chests regardless.
