01. What PD Assessment Actually Is

Treat PD Assessment as six separate audits of six separate investments, not as one event. Each theme switches off every part of your account except one system, then asks how deep that one system goes. Your total across all six is a permanent score that never falls, even though your weekly stage progress resets every time a theme closes.
💡 The Number On The Progress Bar Is Not A Currency
The "points" bar on the main window is not your Assessment Points balance. It is the sum of your Highest Stage across all six themes. Total stages in the game come to exactly 1,800 — 350 + 150 + 300 + 250 + 400 + 350 — which is exactly the top milestone. Because it tracks your all-time high, this bar can never go backwards, no matter how many weekly resets pass.
Getting In
- ▸Three gates, all required. Chief's Office Lvl 19, a built Command Center, and a state that has been open at least 4 weeks. The in-game tip only mentions the Chief's Office.
- ▸Enter through the Command Center. Tap the building, then the PD Assessment ring entry. There is also a sidebar shortcut.
- ▸Themes unlock separately. Hero Selection, Tech Assessment and Comprehensive Assessment are open from the start. Equipment Testing needs Chief's Office Lvl 22. Badge Evaluation needs Lvl 25. K9 Certification needs Chief's Office Lvl 18 and a state open 54 days.
✓ It Costs You Nothing
PD Assessment does not touch your state deployment and your Officers are not injured, win or lose. In the five single-system themes you are not even using your own troops. There is no downside to attempting a stage except spending one of your five daily failures.
02. The Rotation & Your Failure Budget
Your failure budget is lopsided, and it is worst exactly where the ladder is hardest. Five themes get two days a week, which is 10 failed attempts. Comprehensive Assessment gets Sunday only — 5 failures a week — and it is the steepest ladder in the game. Sunday is the day you cannot afford to guess.
| Day (UTC) | Themes Open | Failures Available |
|---|---|---|
| Monday & Tuesday | Hero Selection | 5 per day (10/week) |
| Wednesday & Thursday | K9 Certification and Badge Evaluation | 5 each per day (20/week) |
| Friday & Saturday | Tech Assessment and Equipment Testing | 5 each per day (20/week) |
| Sunday | Comprehensive Assessment | 5 total — one shot |
The rotation runs on UTC, not on your local clock. If a theme closes while you are inside it, the game kicks you out and closes every PD Assessment window.
✓ Only Losses Cost You
Wins are unlimited. The counter only moves when you lose, it is tracked per theme, and it resets at 00:00 UTC. Grinding stages you can clear is completely free — so sweep and clear everything easy before you start testing walls.
✗ There Is No Buyback
Nothing in the game restores a failed attempt. No diamonds, no item, no reset. Once you have burned five losses in a theme, that theme is closed to you until UTC midnight — and on Sunday, that means closed until next week.
Sweep And Auto-Advance
- ▸Sweep unlocks at Highest Stage 10. Clear stages 1–10 of a theme once, and every later opening lets you re-clear that whole range instantly for Sweep Rewards.
- ▸Always sweep first. Sweeping needs your current-period stage to be behind your all-time high. If you manually grind forward before sweeping, you close that gap and lose the instant collection.
- ▸Auto-Advance unlocks at Highest Stage 30 (shown in-game as Stage 3-10). A win queues the next stage after 5 seconds.
- ▸Auto-Advance stops at every chapter line. It closes on every 10th stage and you must switch it back on. This is a feature, not a bug — see section 06.
- ▸Quick Challenge is free progress. When your power far exceeds the requirement the game offers it and jumps you forward in one action. The exact trigger threshold is not published.
03. What Counts In Each Theme
Hero Selection350 stages
K9 Certification150 stages
Badge Evaluation300 stages
Tech Assessment250 stages
Equipment Testing400 stages
Comprehensive350 stagesThe whitelist is absolute. Anything not on the list for that theme contributes zero, not a reduced amount. That is why your power number in Badge Evaluation looks catastrophically low compared to your normal march power — it is showing your badges and nothing else.
| Theme | What Counts | Stages |
|---|---|---|
| Hero Selection | Heroes, Hero Equipment, Exclusive Equipment | 350 |
| K9 Certification | K9s only — and K9 skills fire without being slotted | 150 |
| Badge Evaluation | Chief Badges only | 300 |
| Tech Assessment | Research Center Tech only | 250 |
| Equipment Testing | Chief Equipment only | 400 |
| Comprehensive Assessment | Heroes, Buildings, Tech, Chief Equipment, Chief Badges, Skins, K9s, Island | 350 |
Even Comprehensive Assessment is not truly everything. Buff items, Governor, Official, Governor Skills, Alliance buffs, alliance facilities, kingdom titles and timed boosts are all switched off. Do not burn a consumable before a Sunday run — it does nothing.
⭐ Hero Level Is Not Hero Power
In Hero Selection the hero contribution comes from stars, gear level, gear strengthening, forge, the exclusive weapon, talents and skills. Plain hero level is not in that sum at all. Level still matters, but for a different reason — it raises your deployment capacity, so it buys you troops rather than stats.
💡 Benched Heroes Still Pay
Pre-battle hero skills from heroes you did not deploy are still counted in Hero Selection and Comprehensive Assessment. Your bench is not dead weight — it just cannot double-dip with the heroes already in your formation.
04. Troops, Capacity & The Squad Walls
In K9 Certification, Badge Evaluation and Equipment Testing your deployment capacity is locked at exactly 150,000 — the identical number the enemy fields, on every stage, forever. Troop count is removed from the equation entirely. Those three themes are a pure stat contest, which is exactly why they are the fairest ladders in the game for a smaller account.
🅰️ Five Themes — Free Troops
Hero Selection, K9 Certification, Badge Evaluation, Tech Assessment and Equipment Testing hand you 250,000 each of Royal Guard, Royal Biker and Royal Marksman — Lvl 10 troops, free. Your own army is never read, and neither is any upgrade you have made to your own troops.
🅱️ Comprehensive — Your Own Army
Sunday uses your real troops at their real strength, upgrades included. If you hold fewer than 600,000 troops of Lvl 6 or higher, the game tops you up with 250,000 of each Lvl 6 type free, and spends those before it touches yours.
Where The Cap Actually Moves
- ▸K9, Badge, Equipment: flat 150,000. None of those systems feeds the Deployment Capacity bonus, so nothing you do moves the number.
- ▸Tech Assessment double-dips. Tech raises your stats and your capacity, so you field more than the enemy's 150,000. It is the only single-system theme where your investment buys troops as well as stats.
- ▸Hero Selection double-dips too. Capacity starts at 150,000 and adds each deployed hero's troop number plus your hero-sourced capacity bonus. This is where hero level pays.
- ▸Fill your capacity. If you deploy under your cap the game warns you, and it is right to. Empty capacity is free power you threw away.
✗ The Real Walls: Stage 51 And Stage 251
Hero Selection and Comprehensive Assessment are the only themes with multiple squads, and the squad count jumps at two fixed points. The enemy fields identical copies of its squad, so the total power facing you doubles at stage 51 and triples at stage 251.
Team rules: three heroes per team, one Guard, one Biker and one Marksman, and no hero can appear in two teams. So stage 251 in either theme demands nine distinct heroes — three of each class. That wall is roster width, not power, and no amount of gear on your top three will get you past it.
| Stage Range | Enemy Squads | Heroes You Need | Hero Selection Total Enemy Power |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 – 50 | 1 | 3 | 12.0M → 33.4M |
| 51 – 250 | 2 | 6 (2 per class) | 66.1M → 208.3M |
| 251 – 350 | 3 | 9 (3 per class) | 311.0M → 398.9M |

Multi-squad fights are sequential, not parallel. Two teams walk to the centre, the loser is removed, and the winner stays on the field with its survivors to face the next opponent. That makes a thin third team genuinely dangerous — a weak squad does not just lose its own round, it can hand a healthy enemy team a free win. Which teams get paired is decided outside the client, so nobody can tell you a reliable slot order yet.
05. Where Your Next 10% Buys The Most
Here is the finding that should change how you spend: the ladder gets cheaper the deeper you already are. Enemy power per stage rises steeply at the start and then decelerates hard. In Hero Selection, +10% power buys you about 5 stages down at stage 1–50 — and about 40 stages in the 200–300 range. The instinct to spread investment evenly across all six systems is wrong for ladder score. Deepen the system you already dominate.
| Theme | Stages 1–50 | 50–100 | 100–200 | 200–300 | 300–400 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hero Selection | 4.7 | 11.3 | 18.3 | 40.3 | — |
| K9 Certification | 5.6 | 7.1 | — | — | — |
| Badge Evaluation | 6.2 | 12.4 | 14.5 | 17.1 | — |
| Tech Assessment | 5.0 | 9.1 | 20.9 | — | — |
| Equipment Testing | 7.8 | 10.6 | 11.5 | 18.5 | 18.6 |
| Comprehensive | 3.1 | 4.9 | 8.9 | 14.5 | — |
Stages gained per +10% of your power in that theme. Higher is better.
⭐ Equipment Testing Is The Best Ladder Buy
It has the most stages of any theme (400) and the gentlest early curve of the five single-system themes. K9 Certification is the opposite trap: it caps at 150 stages, so it can never contribute more than 8% of your 1,800 total no matter how much you pour in.
How Far Can You Get? A Rough Yardstick
A full deployment of 150,000 Lvl 10 troops with zero relevant bonuses is worth about 10.5 million power — that is the floor every player is handed in the five free-troop themes. So divide a stage's enemy power by 10.5 million and you get the rough multiplier you need from that one system. This is an estimate for planning only: the power figure the game shows you is a client-side approximation, and it never decides the result.
| Stage | Hero Selection | K9 Cert. | Badge Eval. | Tech Assess. | Equipment Testing |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | 18.5M | 13.3M | 14.5M | 16.7M | 11.6M |
| 50 | 33.4M | 25.1M | 24.2M | 32.6M | 19.8M |
| 100 | 51.9M ×2 | 50.4M | 36.2M | 56.2M | 31.6M |
| 150 | 70.1M ×2 | 90.8M | 52.6M | 75.9M | 52.2M |
| 200 | 89.5M ×2 | — | 72.1M | 90.6M | 75.0M |
| 250 | 104.2M ×2 | — | 96.5M | 110.4M | 98.4M |
| 300 | 114.7M ×3 | — | 129.1M | — | 128.7M |
| 350 | 133.0M ×3 | — | — | — | 168.2M |
| 400 | — | — | — | — | 219.8M |
Power shown is per enemy squad. ×2 and ×3 mark the stages where the enemy fields extra identical squads. Comprehensive Assessment is left out of this table: it uses your own troops at your own tier, so the 10.5M yardstick does not apply there.
Enemy Stat Bias Is Fixed Per Theme
Every enemy's twelve stat bonuses collapse to two numbers: one shared by Attack and Defense, one shared by Health and Penetration. The ratio between them is locked per theme and stays stable the whole way down the ladder. Badge Evaluation completely inverts the pattern.
| Theme | Enemy Atk & Def (final stage) | Enemy HP & Pen (final stage) | Profile |
|---|---|---|---|
| Equipment Testing | +1,081% | +191% | Extreme glass cannon |
| Comprehensive | +788% | +525% | Offense-leaning |
| Hero Selection | +275% | +185% | Offense-leaning |
| Tech Assessment | +201% | +201% | Perfectly even |
| K9 Certification | +155% | +232% | Survivability-leaning |
| Badge Evaluation | +62% | +559% | A wall that cannot hit |
These figures are read directly from the stage data and are solid. Any conclusion about which of your stats counters them is an inference, not a proven rule — the damage calculation is not visible from the client. Note also that the three special theme buffs raise all twelve of your stats equally, so in K9, Badge and Equipment you cannot skew your build anyway.
06. Why Only Stages Ending In 0 And 5 Matter
Every stage you clear is an annuity. Your weekly progress resets when a theme closes, but your Highest Stage never does — so each open period you sweep the whole cleared range again. A stage cleared once pays 20 Coins immediately and then 10 Coins every single week, forever. It pays for itself in two weeks and then keeps paying.
⭐ Never Park On Stage 51
Sweep item drops are not on every stage. A Premium Assessment Briefcase drops on every 10th stage and a standard Assessment Briefcase on every stage ending in 5. Nothing else drops on a sweep. So pushing from 47 to 50 buys you a permanent weekly Premium Briefcase; pushing from 50 to 54 buys you 40 Coins a week and nothing else. Always finish on a multiple of 10. Auto-Advance already stops there — that stopping point is the correct parking spot, not an annoyance.

🅰️ First Victory Rewards
- ▸ 20 Assessment Coins — every stage
- ▸ Advanced Bulletproof Fibers + Hero Eqpt. Chest — every 5th stage
- ▸ Assessment Briefcase — stages ending 3, 5 and 7
- ▸ Premium Assessment Briefcase — every 10th stage
- ▸ Basic Bulletproof Fibers — all other stages
🅱️ Sweep Rewards (Every Week After)
- ▸ 10 Assessment Coins — every stage

- ▸ Premium Assessment Briefcase — every 10th stage
- ▸No fibers, no chests. Those are first-win only.
The Milestone Ladder
The 14 milestones are gated on your total stages across all six themes, and they are claimed one at a time. Because that total never falls, this is permanent, un-losable progress — the only part of the event a weekly reset cannot touch.
| Total Stages | Reward | Total Stages | Reward |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | Advanced Bulletproof Fibers ×5 | 400 | Assessment Course ×4 |
| 30 | Assessment Course ×1 | 500 | Hero Eqpt. Chest ×30 |
| 60 | Legendary Universal Hero Fragment ×5 | 700 | Assessment Course ×5 |
| 100 | Assessment Course ×2 | 900 | Hero Eqpt. Chest ×40 |
| 150 | Hero Eqpt. Chest ×10 | 1,200 | Hero Eqpt. Chest ×50 |
| 200 | Assessment Course ×3 | 1,500 | Hero Eqpt. Chest ×70 |
| 300 | Legendary Hero Eqpt. Chest (C) ×1 | 1,800 | Hero Eqpt. Chest ×100 |
The top two milestones need 1,500 and 1,800 total stages. 1,800 is every stage in the game, so treat the last stage totals as long-term targets rather than plans. Assessment Course is an Island decoration; five of the fourteen milestones pay in decorations, so the real material value sits at 10, 60, 150, 300, 500 and above.
07. Coins, Briefcases & The Shop
You will never afford the whole shop, and the math is not close. Buying one of everything in stock costs 45,250 Assessment Coins. Clearing every stage in the game once earns 36,000. A maxed 1,800-stage account sweeping every week earns 18,000 Coins a week — about 40% of one week's stock. Priority is not optional here.
Your Weekly Coin Income, In One Line
Sweeping pays 10 Coins per cleared stage, and you sweep all six themes once a week. So your weekly income is simply 10 × your total stage count. At 500 total stages that is 5,000 Coins a week. At 1,200 it is 12,000. Every stage you add is a permanent +10 per week.
Shop Items
| Item | Price | Limit | Full Cost | % Of Stock |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Advanced Bulletproof Fibers | 50 | 10 | 500 | 1.1% |
| Hero Eqpt. Chest | 250 | 5 | 1,250 | 2.8% |
| Legendary Universal Hero Fragment | 500 | 5 | 2,500 | 5.5% |
| Chief Eqpt. Materials Chest | 500 | 5 | 2,500 | 5.5% |
| Badge Warrant | 250 | 20 | 5,000 | 11.0% |
| Badge Blank | 250 | 20 | 5,000 | 11.0% |
| Valor Crystal | 2,500 | 1 | 2,500 | 5.5% |
| Legendary Decoration Component | 1,000 | 10 | 10,000 | 22.1% |
| 1-Hr Universal Speedup | 400 | 40 | 16,000 | 35.4% |
✗ The Speedups Are The Trap
1-Hr Universal Speedups eat 16,000 Coins — 35% of the entire stock — for 40 hours of speedups. Speedups come from everywhere in this game. Assessment Coins do not. Spend them on the materials that raise an assessment stat, because those compound: better badges push you deeper in Badge Evaluation, which sweeps more Coins, which buys more badges.
The Briefcases
| Drop | Assessment Briefcase | Premium Assessment Briefcase |
|---|---|---|
![]() | ![]() | |
| 5-Min Universal Speedup ×1 | 68.70% | 56.70% |
| Diamonds | 20.00% for 10 | 20.00% for 50 |
| Basic Bulletproof Fibers ×5 | 10.00% | — |
| Advanced Bulletproof Fibers ×1 | — | 20.00% |
| Downtime & Donuts ×1 (decoration) | 1.00% | 3.00% |
| Legendary Universal Hero Fragment | 0.30% for 30 | 0.30% for 10 |
| Average diamonds per box | 2 | 10 |
Rates as shown in-game. Both tables total 100%.
🔮 PD Assessment Is A Diamond Faucet
At 1,800 total stages, a full weekly sweep yields roughly 2,160 diamonds a week — and about 83% of that comes from the Premium briefcases sitting on the multiples of 10. At 500 total stages you are looking at roughly 600 diamonds a week. This is another reason the multiple-of-10 parking rule matters more than the coin count.
For hero fragments, buy, don't farm. The shop sells 5 Legendary Universal Hero Fragments a week for 2,500 Coins. Opening every briefcase from a complete 1,800-stage first clear averages about 54 fragments in total — roughly 11 weeks of shop purchases, for a job that would take you years of clearing.
08. Common Mistakes
- ▸ Parking on an odd stage. Stopping at 51 or 63 wastes the sweep drops permanently. Push to the next multiple of 10, or stop at the last one you passed.
- ▸ Pushing before sweeping. Sweep needs your current stage to be behind your all-time high. Grind forward manually first and you lose the instant collection for that whole period.
- ▸ Burning consumables before a run. Buff items, Governor skills, alliance buffs and facility buffs are all switched off — in every theme, including Comprehensive Assessment.
- ▸ Testing walls on Sunday. Comprehensive Assessment gets 5 failures a week, not 10. Clear your certain stages first and probe only with what you have left.
- ▸ Pouring investment into K9 Certification for ladder score. It caps at 150 stages — the smallest ladder in the event. Equipment Testing offers 400.
- ▸ Buying speedups with Assessment Coins. 35% of the shop's cost for something you already have piles of. Buy the badge and equipment materials instead.
- ▸ Trusting the power number. It is a client-side estimate, it leaves VIP out entirely, and the result is decided elsewhere. Use it to plan, never to guarantee.
TL;DR — The Quick Hits
- 1. Always stop on a multiple of 10. Sweep drops only land on stages ending in 0 (Premium Briefcase) and 5 (standard Briefcase). Stage 51 pays nothing that 50 did not.
- 2. Every cleared stage pays 10 Coins every week, forever. Your weekly income is exactly 10 × your total stage count.
- 3. Sweep first, push second. Sweeping requires your current stage to be behind your all-time high — grinding forward first throws that away.
- 4. Only losses cost an attempt. Wins are unlimited, so clear everything easy for free before you probe a wall.
- 5. Sunday gets 5 failures for the whole week. Every other theme gets 10. Treat Comprehensive Assessment as your one careful run.
- 6. Your army, alliance buffs and consumables are worth zero, and the power figure leaves VIP out entirely. Five themes hand you 250,000 of each Lvl 10 troop free.
- 7. Three themes cap you at exactly 150,000 troops — the same number the enemy fields. Pure stat contest, and the fairest ladder for a small account.
- 8. Hero level gives no power in Hero Selection. Stars, gear, forge, exclusive weapon, talents and skills do. Level buys capacity instead.
- 9. Stage 51 doubles and stage 251 triples the enemy in Hero Selection and Comprehensive. Stage 251 needs nine distinct heroes, three of each class.
- 10. The ladder gets cheaper the deeper you are. +10% power buys ~5 stages early and ~40 stages deep in Hero Selection. Deepen what you already dominate.
- 11. Equipment Testing is the best ladder buy — 400 stages, the gentlest curve, and a buff that counts every piece. K9 Certification caps at 150.
- 12. The standard briefcase is the better fragment box: 30 fragments per hit versus the Premium's 10, at the same 0.30%. The Premium's edge is diamonds, 50 versus 10.
- 13. You can never buy out the shop — 45,250 Coins of stock against 18,000 a week at maximum. Skip the speedups, buy the badge and equipment materials.
