๐Ÿ‘‘Police Chief Strategy Guide

King of the Precinct

(v1.0 โ€” last updated 7/16/26)

โ† Back to Index

A 7-day cross-server sprint with four leaderboards bolted on โ€” but the leaderboards are a trap for your attention. The real prize is the Medal of Honor track: a guaranteed, zero-competition stack of Pamela fragments and legendary skill books that you win purely by hitting your own point targets. This guide is built around that.

Pre-Release Guide

King of the Precinct is a new event that hasn't been released yet. This guide is built from game code analysis ahead of live release. Most mechanics are locked in via configuration files and unlikely to change, but a few details โ€” especially the exact Chief-Office level breakpoints for the milestone tiers, precise reward arithmetic, the recurrence cadence, and advanced strategy timings โ€” can only be confirmed once the event runs live.

We'll update this guide with field-tested observations after the first event run.

01. What It Is

Kingsburg โ€” the cross-server hub for King of the Precinct

King of the Precinct is a 7-day, cross-server competition โ€” Chiefs from many States pooled into one contest. Each of the 7 days is its own Phase with a themed task list. Doing the listed actions earns Points; hitting a Phase's point thresholds earns Medals of Honor, which you then spend on a separate reward ladder. Four leaderboards pay out on top of that.

๐Ÿ’ก Ignore the leaderboards first, chase the medals

The four rankings are zero-sum โ€” every point you gain, a rival is fighting to beat. The Medal track is not. It pays the same reward whether you're rank 1 or rank 9,000, and the only thing standing between you and it is your own point total. For everyone outside the whales, the medals are the event. Everything else is surplus.

The featured hero this round is Pamela, and her fragments are the marquee reward across the medal ladder and the individual leaderboards. If the featured hero rotates in a later run, the fragment reward rotates with it โ€” but the structure below stays the same.

02. Eligibility & Schedule

The gate is low and the window is short. The event unlocks at Chief Office Lvl 7 โ€” below that, it won't even appear. It runs 7 scored Phases, one per day, with a settlement/results tail after the final Phase, and re-opens on an every-28-day cadence.

PhaseThemeWhat earns points
1PD ConstructionElectro Cores, 1-min speedups, Badge rating
2Hero GrowthHero frags, Hardened Steel, Exclusive Equip mats, Lucky Wheel
3Power BoostPremium/Normal Whistles, hero frags, K9 & Badge rating
4Combat PowerHardened Steel, Exclusive Equip mats, officer training
5Power BoostHardened Steel, Exclusive Equip mats, Electro Cores, speedups
6Combat PowerOfficer training + promotion + Chief Eqpt rating only
7Hero GrowthWhistles, hero frags, Electro Cores, State confiscation

Only the current day's Phase is active โ€” you can't work ahead or bank yesterday's tasks. That single constraint is why the schedule above matters so much: what you can score each day is fixed, so the winning move is knowing which day rewards which of your stockpiled consumables. More on that in the Playbook.

03. How Points Actually Work

The single highest-leverage habit in this event happens before it starts: stockpile the big-ticket consumables and dump them during the matching Phase. Members Only

Officer training and promotion are the low end of that list on purpose. At a few points per officer, they can't carry a Phase by themselves โ€” you'd need thousands of them. They exist to top up a big-item day, or to scrape a medal in the one Phase that has nothing better (see Phase 6 in the Playbook).

04. The Medal of Honor Track

Medal of Honor โ€” the event currency

This is the loop the whole guide points at. Each Phase has four point milestones, and the top two of every Phase each drop 1 Medal of Honor. Seven Phases ร— 2 medals = a hard ceiling of 14 medals per event. You then spend those medals climbing a single accumulate ladder.

Medal Ladder Payout โ€” Members Only

๐Ÿ’ก Why this beats ranking for most players

A settle-rank finish deep in the top 100 might pay 5โ€“10 Pamela fragments and you have to out-score a State full of rivals for it. The medal ladder pays 13 fragments plus 26 legendary skill books and asks only that you clear your own targets. Miss a top-2 milestone in even one Phase, though, and you fall a rung short of the ceiling โ€” so the medals reward consistency across all seven days, not a single big push.

05. Milestones & the Castle-Tier Trap

Here's the counterintuitive part: leveling your Chief Office up makes the medals cost more. The point thresholds scale with your Chief Office level in tiers โ€” the bigger your Office, the higher every target climbs โ€” while the medal reward stays exactly the same. A max-Office Chief pays roughly double a low-Office Chief for the identical Pamela fragment.

Phase 1 shown as the example; each Phase has its own four thresholds on the same tier pattern. The exact Chief Office levels where each tier begins are our best read from the game files and should be treated as estimates until the event runs live.

โญ Don't upgrade your Chief Office mid-event

If an Office upgrade would bump you into the next tier, hold it until the event ends. Crossing a tier boundary mid-run can raise a Phase's top target by 50โ€“100% for zero extra reward. Low- and mid-Office Chiefs get the best value-per-medal in the whole event โ€” lean into it while you have it.

06. The Four Leaderboards & the 250K Wall

Four independent rankings run alongside the medals. All four pay out automatically by mail โ€” nothing to claim, nothing to miss โ€” so treat them as bonus payouts layered on top of your medal grind, not as separate grinds.

BoardDepthTop-rank payout & flavor
Daily / Phase (your State)Top 100, resets each PhaseRank 1 โ‰ˆ 20,000 Diamonds + speedups + Legendary Recruitments
Overall individual (your State)Top 100, whole eventRank 1 โ‰ˆ 300 Pamela Frags + 150 Legendary Deploy Books + 20,000 Diamonds
Cross-State individual (all States)Top 1,000 โ€” deepest boardRank 1 โ‰ˆ 120 Pamela Frags + 80,000 Diamonds + 100 Electro Core + 30-day cosmetics
State vs StateTop 6 StatesWinning State โ‰ˆ 150 Training Speedups + 6 Legendary Recruitments + resource chests

๐Ÿ’ก The Cross-State board is the deep one

It pays down to rank 1,000 โ€” ten times deeper than the per-State boards โ€” and it's the only one handing out the Top-Tier Badge Nameplate and "Honored to Serve" Avatar Frame cosmetics. If you're going to chase any ranking, this is the realistic one to place in, and its rewards (Pamela frags + Electro Cores) fall out of the same point-scoring you're already doing for medals.

โญ The 250,000-point wall on State rewards

State-vs-State rewards have a double gate: your State must finish top 6 and you personally must score at least 250,000 Points across the event. You cannot coast on a strong State โ€” no personal 250K, no State reward. The good news: if you're genuinely medal-hunting every Phase, your cumulative score sails past 250K on its own. Treat it as a floor that falls out of the medal grind, not a separate objective.

07. Phase-by-Phase Playbook

Because only the current day's tasks score, the whole game is matching your hoard to the right day. Bank these between events and spend them on the matching Phase:

๐Ÿšจ Phase 6 is where medals go to die

Both Phase 4 and Phase 6 are "Combat Power," but they are not the same difficulty. Phase 4 has Hardened Steel (4,000) and Exclusive-Equip mats (8,000) to lean on. Phase 6 has none of them โ€” its only actions are officer training (a few points each), officer promotion, and Chief Eqpt rating (36) โ€” yet its top medal target still sits around 120,000+. This is the Phase most players miss. Arrive with a stockpile of officer-training and promotion speedups set aside specifically for Phase 6, or accept you'll come up one medal short of the ceiling.

๐Ÿ’ก After the medal floor, spike one day

The daily leaderboard resets every Phase, so once you've locked each Phase's top-2 medal milestone, don't smear your leftovers evenly. Pour surplus into your single strongest day โ€” usually Phase 2, 3, or 7 โ€” to snipe a top-100 daily placement (rank 1 is 20,000 Diamonds) instead of finishing mid-pack every day.

08. Common Mistakes

  • โ–ธ Burning whistles, wheel spins, and hero frags between events. These are your biggest point actions. Used off-event, they score you nothing โ€” bank them for the matching Phase.
  • โ–ธ Upgrading your Chief Office mid-event. Crossing a tier boundary raises every medal target by 50โ€“100% for the same reward. Hold the upgrade until it's over.
  • โ–ธ Chasing a leaderboard while missing medal milestones. The medals are the guaranteed 13 Pamela frags + 26 legendary books. Secure those before you fight rivals for rank points.
  • โ–ธ Treating Phase 6 like Phase 4. Phase 6 has no big-ticket action. Come in with officer-training and promotion resources set aside, or you'll miss that Phase's medals.
  • โ–ธ Coasting on your State for State rewards. You personally need 250,000 points โ€” a strong State can't carry you past that gate.
  • โ–ธ Forgetting to claim the medal ladder in-UI before the event closes. Rank rewards auto-mail, but the medal ladder rungs are claimed by hand. Cash them all in on the final day.
  • โ–ธ Spreading a hoard thin across all seven days. After the medal floor is met, concentrate leftovers into one Phase for a daily top-100, don't finish mid-pack every day.

TL;DR โ€” The Quick Hits

  1. 1. 7-day cross-server event, one themed Phase per day, unlocks at Chief Office Lvl 7, re-opens every 28 days.
  2. 2. The Medal of Honor track โ€” not the leaderboards โ€” is the real prize. It's guaranteed and has no competition.
  3. 3. Each Phase's top 2 milestones drop 1 medal each. 7 Phases ร— 2 = 14 medals max.
  4. 4. The medal ladder runs 2 โ†’ 14; every rung pays 1 Pamela Frag + 1 Legendary Patrol Book + 1 Legendary Deployment Book + 1 one-hour Training Speedup.
  5. 5. Full clear (all 14 medals) = 13 Pamela Frags + 26 legendary skill books. Aim for the top-2 milestone in every Phase.
  6. 6. Medal thresholds scale up with your Chief Office level for the same reward โ€” don't upgrade your Office mid-event.
  7. 7. Stockpile consumables between events; spend them on the matching Phase.
  8. 8. Point value order: Members Only
  9. 9. Phase 6 (Combat Power) is the bottleneck โ€” no big-ticket action, only officer training/promotion. Bank speedups for it.
  10. 10. Officer training alone can't carry a Phase; use it to top up, not to hit a target from scratch.
  11. 11. Four leaderboards, all auto-mailed. The Cross-State individual board is the deep one (top 1,000) and the only cosmetics source.
  12. 12. State-vs-State rewards need your State top-6 AND you personally at 250,000 points โ€” which medal-hunting clears on its own.
  13. 13. After locking each Phase's medals, spike your leftovers into one strong day for a daily top-100 (rank 1 = 20,000 Diamonds).
  14. 14. Claim the medal ladder rungs by hand before the event ends โ€” ranks auto-mail, medals don't.
