01. The Event Window
Dawn of Justice is three separate daily sprints. The task board wipes at 00:00 server time every night, so nothing you leave half-done carries over. The only thing that survives the reset is your Order Mark count, and that is the number the milestone chests read.
- ▸Runs 3 days. Task progress resets each night; Order Marks do not.
- ▸Needs Chief's Office Lvl 7. Below that the event does not appear at all — no entry icon, no calendar row, no jump.
- ▸Shows on the events calendar early. It is listed with a "next opens" preview before it starts, so you get warning.
- ▸Repeats on a roughly four-week cycle. That cadence is what the event is configured for; the exact dates are set per server, so treat the calendar preview as the real answer.
02. The Task Board
Nine gameplay tasks pay 34 Order Marks a day between them. One task — top up any amount, once — pays 20 on its own. A single purchase of any size outweighs any three gameplay tasks on the board combined, and it resets daily with everything else.
| Task | Target | Order Marks |
|---|---|---|
| Defeat Criminals | 5 | 2 |
| Defeat Criminals | 15 | 4 |
| Initiate Rallies on Crime Bosses | 3 | 2 |
| Initiate Rallies on Crime Bosses | 10 | 4 |
| Confiscate Resources | 3,000,000 | 2 |
| Confiscate Resources | 10,000,000 | 4 |
| Third group — tier 1 (see below) | — | 2 |
| Third group — tier 2 | — | 4 |
| Third group — tier 3 | — | 10 |
| Gameplay subtotal | — | 34 |
| Top up any amount | 1 time | 20 |
| Full daily clear | — | 54 |
The Two Rosters
The third task group is not the same on every server, and the difference decides whether this event is a grind or a spend. Check the board on day one — the group's wording tells you which version you are on, and the two are worlds apart in difficulty.
🏋️ Early-server roster
Increase Power via Officer training and promotion — 50,000 / 100,000 / 150,000. Costs resources and speedups, not money. A determined player clears all nine tasks in one day here. This roster stops appearing once your server is old enough.
🎰 Later-server roster
10 Epic Recruits, then 10 and 30 Legendary Recruits — every day. Fifty pulls a day to clear the group. A one-day full clear on this roster is very hard, and the 30-pull tier is the one most players simply never see.
- ▸Rallies must be yours. The task says initiate. Joining an alliance-mate's rally uses a different counter and does not feed this one.
- ▸Confiscation counts all four resources. The task button drops you on the Ammo tab, but the counter is the aggregate across Ammo, Cash, Electricity and Gas.
- ▸Claimed tasks stay on the list. The board sorts claimable first, then in-progress, then done. A finished task keeps its row with the button hidden — it is not repeatable until the reset.
03. Order Marks

The milestone bar reads the Order Marks you are currently holding, not a per-day tally. That makes all three days one running total, and it means a bad opening day is fully recoverable — you are never locked out of a tier by a slow start, only by running out of days.
Order Marks have no other use anywhere in the game. Nothing sells for them, nothing crafts with them, and they buy nothing outside this event's five chests. There is no reason to sit on them.
✓ Claim every tier the moment it lights up
Tier 1 costs 10 Marks and lands early on day one. Claiming it immediately puts Donuts in your bag on day one, and Donuts are Energy — the fuel for the Criminal and Confiscation tasks you still have to run on days two and three. Hoarding claims until the last day means you burn your own stamina while the event's stamina sits in an unopened chest.
04. Milestone Tiers
Both rosters use the same five thresholds — 10, 30, 50, 80 and 110 — but they do not pay the same things. The early roster is a Diamond event. The later one trades most of those Diamonds for Electro Cores.

| Early roster | Reward |
|---|---|
| 10 | 300 Diamonds, 2 Donuts |
| 30 | 2× 1-Hr Universal Speedup, 2 Donuts |
| 50 | 50K Hero EXP, 3 Donuts |
| 80 | 2,000 Diamonds, 3 Donuts |
| 110 | 3× Justice Cache, 10 Donuts |
| Later roster | Reward |
|---|---|
| 10 | 1,000 Diamonds, 5 Donuts |
| 30 | 3-Hr Universal Speedup, 5 Donuts |
| 50 | 5× Advanced Bulletproof Fibers, 5 Donuts |
| 80 | 15× Electro Core, 5 Donuts |
| 110 | 3× Justice Cache, 20 Donuts |
What a Full Event Pays
Three days of gameplay tasks, the full milestone ladder and one top-up, totalled:
| Reward | Early roster | Later roster |
|---|---|---|
| Diamonds | 3,200 | 1,900 |
| Justice Cache | 4 | 4 |
| Electro Core | 0 | 40 |
| Legendary Universal Hero Fragment | 3 | 6 |
| Legendary Skill Books | 12 | 12 |
| Advanced Bulletproof Fibers | 9 | 14 |
| Donuts | 30 | 40 |
| Lvl 2 Resource Chest (C) | 30 | 30 |
| Hero EXP | 140,000 | 180,000 |
| Legendary Recruitment | 0 | 2 |
| Speedups (all types) | ~23 hrs | ~18 hrs |
Raw resources on top: roughly 600K Ammo, 600K Cash, 120K Electricity and 30K Gas across the three days, before the 30 resource chests.
05. The Top Tier
Flawless free play earns 102 Order Marks. The top tier costs 110. The gap is exactly 8 Marks, and there is nothing else on the board that can close it — the only task left is the top-up.
| Play pattern | Order Marks | Highest tier |
|---|---|---|
| Skip the 10-Mark task all 3 days | 72 | 50 — misses tier 4 by 8 |
| Perfect free clear, all 3 days | 102 | 80 |
| Perfect free clear + one top-up | 122 | 110 ✓ |
| Top up all three days, no gameplay | 60 | 50 |
That last row is worth staring at. Money alone does not reach the top tier. Three purchases across three days pay 60 Marks and stop at tier 3. The 110 chest requires gameplay from everyone, and the top-up is the tie-breaker at the end — not a bypass.
The 10-Mark Task Is the Hinge
The third group's top tier pays 10 Marks — 29% of a whole day's gameplay yield from one task. Miss it on all three days and you finish on 72, which does not reach tier 4. Hit it on one day out of three and you are at 82, past tier 4, and you can coast the rest.
🚫 On the later roster, 110 is a different animal
If your 10-Mark task is 30 Legendary Recruits, run the numbers before you commit. Without it you cap at 24 Marks a day — 72 over the event, 92 with a top-up, still short of 110. Reaching the top tier needs the 30-pull task on at least two of the three days plus a purchase or two purchases (on separate days), which is 60 Legendary pulls minimum. On the early roster the same tier is 150,000 training Power in a day. Same event, same chest, wildly different price.
06. The Justice Cache
The Justice Cache is a pick-one chest, and the eight options it offers are all priced as equal by the game. That is a free exchange rate you can use anywhere: 2 Legendary Universal Hero Fragments = 8 hours of Universal Speedup = 6 Classified Schematics = 4 Badge Blanks. Read across that list and one Legendary Hero Fragment is worth four hours of universal speedup by the game's own accounting.

| Pick | Count | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Legendary Universal Hero Fragment | 2 | Redeems into a Legendary hero's own shards, for heroes you already recruited |
| 1-Hr Universal Speedup | 8 | 8 hours, usable on any queue |
| Advanced Bulletproof Fibers | 5 | Gear strengthening material |
| Hardened Steel | 3 | Specialized Forge upgrades on Legendary equipment |
| Chief Eqpt. Materials Chest (R) | 3 | Random box — see the odds below |
| Classified Schematic | 6 | Chief equipment material |
| Badge Blank | 4 | Chief's Badge upgrade material |
| Badge Warrant | 4 | Chief's Badge upgrade material |
The Random Box, Costed Out
One of the eight picks is a gamble, and it is the only one where the right answer is not obvious. Here is what each Chief Eqpt. Materials Chest (R) actually rolls:
| Roll | Chance |
|---|---|
| 600 Reinforced Metal | 31.50% |
| 1,200 Reinforced Metal | 15.00% |
| 2,500 Reinforced Metal | 3.00% |
| 5,000 Reinforced Metal | 0.50% |
| 6 Tactical Gel | 15.75% |
| 12 Tactical Gel | 7.50% |
| 25 Tactical Gel | 1.50% |
| 50 Tactical Gel | 0.25% |
| 5 Classified Schematic | 15.75% |
| 10 Classified Schematic | 7.50% |
| 20 Classified Schematic | 1.50% |
| 50 Classified Schematic | 0.25% |
🎲 The verdict, with the math
Three boxes return 5.89 Classified Schematics on average. The direct pick hands you a guaranteed 6. The averages are a wash — but only 25% of rolls are Schematics at all, so three boxes come back with zero Schematics 42% of the time.
If you want Schematics, take the direct pick. Same expected haul, no chance of a blank. Take the box route only when you actually want Reinforced Metal — that is half of all rolls, and three boxes average about 1,400 of it.
07. Common Mistakes
- ▸ Topping up twice on the same day. The task pays its 20 Marks once per day. A second purchase inside the same day adds nothing. It does reset with the board, so a purchase on a different day counts again.
- ▸ Joining rallies instead of starting them. The Crime Boss tasks count rallies you initiate. Ten joins is ten wasted marches for this board.
- ▸ Farming only Ammo for the confiscation task. The task button opens the Ammo tab, but all four resource types feed the same counter. Send marches to whatever nodes are closest.
- ▸ Chasing 110 with pulls you cannot afford. On the recruitment roster the top tier needs 60 Legendary pulls plus a purchase. Stop at tier 4 and keep your Diamonds.
- ▸ Skipping the 10-Mark task every day. That is a 72-Mark event and it does not reach tier 4. Land it once and you are past 80.
- ▸ Assuming money alone buys the top chest. Three days of top-ups with no gameplay is 60 Marks — tier 3. The 110 chest is gated on playing, not paying.
TL;DR — The Quick Hits
- 1. Three days. The task board wipes nightly at 00:00 server time; your Order Marks do not.
- 2. Nine gameplay tasks pay 34 Marks a day. The top-up task pays 20 on its own and resets daily like everything else.
- 3. Perfect free play is 102 Marks. The top tier costs 110. The gap is exactly 8, and only the top-up closes it.
- 4. Money alone does not get there either — three days of top-ups with no gameplay is 60 Marks, tier 3.
- 5. You have 12 Marks of slack on the way to 110. Skip the 10-Crime-Boss rally tier all three days, top up once, and land on 110 exactly.
- 6. The 10-Mark task is 29% of a day's yield. Skip it all three days and you finish on 72 — short of tier 4.
- 7. You only need that 10-Mark task on one day out of three to clear tier 4.
- 8. Check your third task group on day one. Officer training Power is a grind; 30 Legendary Recruits a day is a wallet.
- 9. On the recruitment roster, 110 needs the 30-pull task twice plus a purchase — 60 Legendary pulls, or two purchases on separate days.
- 10. Rally tasks count rallies you start, not ones you join.
- 11. The confiscation counter takes all four resource types, not just Ammo.
- 12. In the Justice Cache, take Classified Schematics directly rather than through the random box — same average, and the box blanks 42% of the time.
- 13. Needs Chief's Office Lvl 7, and comes back on a roughly four-week cycle. Watch the events calendar for the real date.
